It's a new year and we're full speed ahead here at We Are Neutral. We've spent every week these last few months increasing our carbon reduction projects and teaching our community how they can understand, reduce, and offset their carbon footprint. Discover everything we've had going on plus get a preview of what's to come as we create a bigger and better environmental impact in 2020.
Carbon Reduction Projects
The beginning of this year has been filled with tree plantings and invasive species pulls thanks to the help of our wonderful volunteers! Our carbon reduction projects empower members of our community to decrease carbon emissions by getting their hands dirty. Participating in our carbon reduction projects require no previous experience, but all volunteers leave with a better understanding of the carbon cycle and their local surroundings.
Neutral Neighbors
We Are Neutral offsets the carbon footprint of local businesses, events, and residents who strive to build a healthier, happier planet. Offsetting the carbon footprint of your home makes you one of our Neutral Neighbors. Your dollar bills go towards meaningful carbon reduction projects right here in Gainesville while you get exclusive deals from our carbon neutral business partners. Whether you’re a homeowner or a renter, we’d love to help you better understand your utility consumption and residential carbon footprint.
We couldn't do what we do best without your support. As always, feel free to reach out if you're interested in learning more about how you can better understand, reduce, and offset your carbon footprint. Thank you for being a Carbon Champion!
