Development of Nasfi Hub Mental Health App

In order to strengthen and its Mental Health services to larger audience, VAP has been involved in a series of workshops inviting various community stake holders including like-minded organizations, professionals from public and private institutions to gather views and opinions on how best the mental health App could be developed. Amongst the invited experts were professionals from the ministry of health, psychologists and psychiatrists from different hospitals and clinics.

 

The discussions created a wealthy platform of information regarding mental health and how best and useful the Nafsi Mental Health App would used considering all the safe guarding policies and protection of the users.VAP is aiming to reach out to thousands of youth with the App and provide them with instant psychosocial support services and mental health information while linking them with qualified counsellors,pychologists as well as making referrals to psychiatrists or further examinations to partnering hospitals and clinics around that have an existing partnership with VAP.

 

With all views collected from every workshop participants, VAP Information and Technology team were tasked to reassemble and keep on developing the App including all the information and features that were observed missing by the workshop participants. The development of the Mental App is projected to take 2 months for everything to be included with all the permits acquired before the official launch.
