Circumcision League
Circumcision League

With schools now on holidays till 2nd of January 2019, the 3rd edition of Skillz football league targeting adolescent boys with an aim of promoting voluntary medical male circumcision got underway in 5 different community fields around Nairobi. This being a fertile season for VAP to promote VMMC, a total of 40 teams have registered in the league. Participants will also be subjected to go through ‘Make The Cut’ football based activities that are coated with VMMC messages. As a supplementary event and a build up to the  forthcoming Kick ‘N’ Test VCT football tournament scheduled for 1st of December during world’s Aids day, players in the Skillz league will be earning OFF the field points to their respective teams by visiting nearby clinics for either surgical and non-surgical circumcision services.
