Children's Joy Foundation, Inc. never stops giving love to thousands of destitute children not only here in the Philippines but all over the world. Every child deserves the love of a family and one of them is Len.
When Len's parents married, they lived a simple life. However, due to the demands of life and hardships they faced every day, her parents, later on, had problems supporting a family of seven children, the youngest of which is Len.
Unfortunately, their relationship didn't go well when her mother went to another place to find work and was later found out to have an illicit affair with another man. Eventually, this led to a separation. Len was only 2 years old back then.
Her father took the responsibility since the mother abandoned them and now living with her new family. Since then, her father was left raising them alone single-handedly. Len grew up in a broken family.
She was not given enough attention, love, and care that often times makes her hard-headed. In her early age, she became depressed and malnourished because of her father's inadequate income.
Len's father was worried that the child would grow up unruly without a proper care and supervision. Growing up without a mother to guide her, and a father who is always away is definitely not good in raising any child.
In 2017, Len was admitted to Children's Joy Foundation, Inc. Her physical attributes were presented normal according to the age development of a child.
Now, in her new life inside a 24/7 residential center, she is well-provided with her daily needs such as three meals a day, clothing, personal supplies, among others. She is even sent to school and provided with books and school supplies. Now with proper nutrition and motivation from the people around her in CJFI, she stands out in her class and is very motivated. She obeys every house rule at the center and enjoys every single minute living in her newfound home..
Despite her past experiences, Len is molded to become more responsible in her life and is very grateful to CJFI who supports her needs physically, materially, and most importantly, emotionally.
