It was a frightful day of August 18, 2013 when heavy downpour caused waters to rise at 8- feet deep in the coastal area of Cavite, sending families running to the highlands without anything except the clothes on their bodies.

The Children’s Joy Foundation Residential Shelter located in Imus, Cavite which was also affected by the calamity but nonetheless was quick at helping others after it has put its wards to complete safety. There is so much damage and rebuilding is just but a single choice after a calamity. It was a year over, we are now rising from the ruins and we remember the helping hands that every generous donor reached out to help.

Your helping hands helped us acquire a new shelter which now became a home to the children beneficiaries of CJFI and the people who have been victims of the flood.
