Even in these difficult times, Ukrainian foster families continue to build spaces filled with love, safety, and hope. Each one carries a story of quiet strength — of people who choose care over fear, and love over loss.
One of them is a single foster father from southern Ukraine who has opened his heart to more than twenty children since 2009. Many have already grown up and built their own lives, but they still call him Dad. Today, nine children live in his care.
“We had to flee when our hometown in the Kherson region was occupied,” he says. “The city was being destroyed — we left everything behind. It was hard, but life goes on. I have children who need to learn, to be supported, and to believe in their future.”
Recently, we helped this family improve their learning environment by providing a new printer. For nine school-aged children, it’s a simple thing that makes daily life easier — helping them prepare lessons, print materials, and stay engaged in school.
Every donation you make makes a difference — it helps foster families across Ukraine give children a place to call home. And by becoming a monthly supporter, you create an even bigger impact — ensuring that these families never have to face their challenges alone.
Thank you for standing with them, and with us — your kindness truly changes lives.
