Vocational School
St. Joseph's Vocational School
A trade is more than just a job. A trade is a means to building a life and caring for a family including providing food security, shelter, education, and medical care. One of the most common experiences for youth and adults in rural Haiti is not having a job and worse, no prospects for a job. With LCM's vocational program, students will receive job-specific training allowing them far greater prospects to find employment. Many students don't have the opportunity to obtain additional skills needed to provide for their families. Let's work together to help provide a future. Thank You for your continued support.

New Vocational School Under Construction
One of the goals at Life Connection Mission is to see each student attend a university or vocational school after graduation. Their continued education would help make their dreams come true, enable them to support themselves and their families and ultimately serve their country. It is rare in Haiti to achieve a high school education. A shocking stat is that 99% of Haitian high school grads do not go on to attend college. This is due exclusively to the financial hurdles.
With your help Life Connection Mission can contunue to help these students by providing the needed opportunities for them to succeed. Thank you for your kind consideration regarding this project.

University of the People College Program

University of the People College Program
Following the 2010 earthquake, twenty-eight of Haiti’s thirty-two’s universities were destroyed, leaving the dream of many to attend college and obtain advanced degrees a mere dream. Because the country has been able to rebuild the universities and infrastructure remains one of the country’s greatest problems, students are forced to explore other options, including leaving their home country for a better education and a life. LCM believes that it is important to introduce all resources and programs that will allow these young men and women to pursue an advanced degree while living in their own country, and eventually help bring greater prosperity to all in their community. LCM has partnered with the University of the People, a nonprofit located in the United States that is able to offer eligible students an online college education. In time, students will graduate with degrees in business administration, computer science, or health science. Thank you for your continued support.
