The Yungdrung Bon Monastic Centre (YBMC) reports that there are presently 240 orphan, semi-orphan or very poor Nepalese Bon children being supported by YBMC and attending school at the Tibetan Bon School in Dolanji, India. 200 are boys and 40 are girls. The Tibetan Bon School now has classes from 1st to 11th grade. A 12th grade will be added this next year. From the graduates of the Tibetan Bon School, there are now 38 children pursuing higher education studies in Masoori, Varanasi, Chandigar and New Delhi. To accommodate the expanding number of children, more rooms are being built for older boys. When they are finished, four boys will live in each room.
