Finally we have been able to conduct the long waited workshop for the Mukinyai youth although with restriction of participants due to limited resources but we are happy that we have made a step as we continue to fundraise more for another workshop where we will have all the youths willing to participate as well as accommodate those in boarding schools at the moment. The main objective of the workshop was to raise awareness to the youths in schools and those out of schools on various youth opportunities. We encourage them to form groups so that they can benefit from the various opportunities provided by different players.
In primary school section we have managed to support 4 very needy children with school uniforms as well as books to ensure that they continue with their education. Although this is not enough considering many challenges facing the vulnerable families in Mukinyai we prioritized on school uniforms and books for the needy children. We intend to fundraise more to support others who are also very vulnerable. Towards this we invite all the well-wishers to join hands with us in fundraising towards supporting the orphans and vulnerable children in Mukinyai primary school as well as youths in the area. To this far we thank all those who have sacrificed in order to support the less privileged in our society and all those who are willing to offer support in one or the other.
