Help Educate 330 Mukinyai School Orphans, Kenya

By Lucy Mathenge | Project Manager

The school term was smooth in our schools and class 8 and form 4 candidates sat for their final national exams in March and April 2022.  The results were later released after marking process was concluded and students received their results and they now know what is next for them.  Class 8 candidates started joining secondary schools beginning of May 2022 and the process is still on-going.  Form 4 candidates are waiting for universities and colleges admission and they will soon be joining their respective institutions.  Our form 4 beneficiaries worked really hard and they will be joining various colleges to pursue their courses of their choice.  We are proud of them for their hard-work and we congratulate them for their good performance.  Although they did not qualify to join universities we are happy they made it to join colleges their success is our success.  I take the opportunity to express our gratitude to all those who generously contributed to the success of the vulnerable students.  Our beneficiaries remained in schools throughout the learning periods because you provided school uniforms and school fees hence the good performance.  We wish them all the best in their next levels.  As earlier reported, we have a long list of vulnerable students requesting for our support but due to limited resources, we are sorry we can only afford to accommodate a few.  The list grew longer after KCPE results were released and many placed request to assist them join various secondary schools and unfortunately we turned them down.  We have referred some of them to other service providers and we are happy some benefited.  It has been very difficult in fundraising as well but we remain optimistic that things will soon improve for the better.  On the other hand, parents/guardians have been going through challenging moments mainly worsened by the covid pandemic but we can only keep encouraging each other and remain positive.  Thank you for the continued support from our well-wishers, donors and our friends
