Help Educate 330 Mukinyai School Orphans, Kenya

By Lucy Mathenge | Project Assistant

Another school calendar has started for this New Year. Our beneficiaries in our program have reported back to school after short December holiday for their final term. Candidates will be sitting for their final national examination from March this year. They are busy revising for their coming exams and they have assured us that they are well prepared for the exams. We pray for their success and we hope they will perform well to continue to the next level. We have already paid for this term fees for them hence they should be in school throughout. We are very happy for this achievement which has been made possible by our good friends, donors and well-wishers kindly receive our gratitude and those of our beneficiaries, parents/guardians and teachers. Together we have played a noble role in molding our less fortunate youths. We are proud of them for their hard work and we believe that they will do even better in their final exams. In the meantime we are receiving requests from vulnerable students seeking for our support in their studies. At the moment we are not in a position to give any promise as we are very low financially but working hard in fundraising to accommodate new students as from May 2022. We request for more support from our friends and well-wishers to enable us give the applicants positive feedback. It is unfortunate to see the increasing number of vulnerable children in the region who are desperately knocking many doors requesting for their education support. The situation has been worsened by the covid 19 pandemic as their parents/guardians are facing serious financial challenges. We hope situation will soon improve and business status will improve. Most parents and guardians are small scale farmers who depends on selling food surplus for income generation and others operates small businesses. Once we succeed in fundraising, we will add more beneficiaries in our program and especially the most vulnerable. Welcome and join us in supporting our needy children in their studies to shape their future. Thank you for your continued support.
