The year 2019 started well and we thank God for this far. Our students reported back to school for first term in January 2019 and they are now preparing to break for April holiday next week. We have had a good school term and all our beneficiaries reported back and remained in their respective schools as expected. We managed to pay school fees for all them and support some of them in boarding schools with personal effects and books for the whole term. Thank you to all those who have been contributing to this project that has benefited vulnerable children. As reported previously one of our beneficiaries did his final exams November last year and the results were released in December. We are happy to report that he performed well and scored B- grade and as usual he was top in his school and he made us proud. He will be joining university in August this year although they are yet to receive letters of admission in public university, we remain optimistic that he will be admitted in a good university where he will pursue a course of his choice. We hope to support him in some ways once we know the university he will be joining and what will be required of him. Although we don’t have money at the moment, we hope by the time he will be going to school we will have money for us to support him and we request all our well-wishers to consider contributing to our project to enable the dreams of this young man and other come true. In the previous report we promised to report on the status of adding more beneficiaries in our program after receiving some good donations in December last year. Am happy to report that we managed to add 5 more students in our program those who joined form one in January this year. These 5 students 3 girls and 2 boys performed well in their final exams and they were admitted in good public schools and their parents and guardians were not in a position to take them to those schools due to limited resources. They approached us and after several meetings and visits to their homes we decided to support them. Although the number of needy students was higher than that, we could not manage to accommodate all of them and we had to consider the neediest and most vulnerable among them. They all joined boarding schools that they were admitted and we hope to receive their progress reports and performance soon once they close school next week. We hope we will have money to continue supporting them as we committed to support them for 1 year but if we receive more resources we will continue supporting them and possibly consider others. Thank you to all our well-wishers, friends and partners for this far they have supported us. Please accept our sincere gratitude as we request you to consider walking the journey with us even further.
