Dear Donors,
In April, Taiwan experienced an earthquake of over magnitude 7. Since Jonah Home has been over 20 years, some areas were damaged by the earthquake. However, we promptly carried out repairs and are also planning to replace the old elevator this year to ensure the children's safety.
This year, we have received many applications from adoptees abroad seeking to visit Taiwan to find their roots. Although our manpower is limited, our social workers are doing their best to arrange reunions for these adoptees.
In recent months, both the government and society have been paying more attention to the rights of children awaiting adoption. We hope the government can work together with social welfare organizations to improve the adoption process, benefitting disadvantaged children in need of families.
