Students and teachers experienced a solid week of exploration and innovation in January.
The few days with Deaf Kids Code were nothing short of incredible!
Our students immersed themselves in hands-on learning, designing and building their own robot models using a variety of materials and tools. They programmed each component with innovative, challenging code - proving that technology has no limits. Through play, trial and error, and experimentation, they discovered the power of creativity and problem solving.
We are deeply grateful to Shireen and Rebecca from Deaf Kids Code.org for filling our days with laughter, inspiration, and invaluable guidance on this journey. Their generous donation of drone robots ensures that the students of EEESMA; girls, boys, and young people alike will continue developing their skills in robotics and programming, opening doors to a future full of possibilities.
We hope you will find this project as exciting and worthwhile as we do. Mastering computer skills will help to level the playing field for children and young people who are Deaf to compete for jobs in computer tech. Please consider adding your support today.
