The construction of the Centre of Love Vocational Learning Centre commenced in May 2024. Through the generous support from well wishers, community and team members on the ground, construction is now at 70% completion level. All the sub-structure and 70%of the super structure works are complete.
The pending works include:
The Vocational Learning Centre will be a key player in providing basic literacy skills courses to youths in Kibera, Nairobi Kenya. This project will be one of a few in the area that addresses the skills gap and youth unemployment. The Vocational Learning Centre will also provide space for a community library where school going children will have access to a safe space where they can do their homework, study and learn.
The Centre of Love is extremely greatful for all partners whose generous support has enabled the project to reach its current level . We continue to seek your support in order to finalize all the pending works and make the Vocational Learning Centre open and ready for use .Your support will not only go to the brick and motor construction but also have a long term impact on youths empowerment.
