Thank you for supporting charity: water! Our mission is to bring clean and safe drinking water to every person on the planet, and we're so glad you've joined us.
Right now, you're helping to support our general water fund. For these gifts, we don't assign the funds to a specific project since construction in developing countries means dealing with many tricky variables -- supply price fluctuation, change of plans due to drills that don’t reach water, and other unpredictable challenges.
General water gifts allow us to remain efficient and flexible during the implementation process, so we can use your funds where they're really needed. Rest assured, 100% of the money received will help fund water project costs in one of the countries we work in!
Because of you, kids in developing countries will receive access to clean water which means better health and more time to focus on the things that really matter -- like getting an education.
Kids who attend school get to expand their worldview and build better futures. They get to dream bigger.
