Help charity: water provide clean and safe water

Funds raised through GlobalGiving support our general water fund, so we can use your gift where it's most needed. While we may not be assigning your donation to a specific project, rest assured 100% of what we receive will fund water projects in the areas of greatest need. One of the countries your gift could go to is Uganda. 

More than a dozen women were waiting for our team when we arrived to Bulundira East village in rural Uganda-- neatly lined up next to their month-old water point in beautiful, brightly-colored dresses. As we walked up, the group, full of smiles, quickly ushered us to a row of chairs they had prepared in the shade. And then, together, they began to sing and dance.-colored dresses. Over the course of the day, we heard powerful anecdotes about the impact of clean water in their community…

Mary talked about no longer having to spend three hours walking to and from the lake to collect water.

Janet boasted that her soon-to-be-born baby would never go without a bath.

Esther raved that only death would take people away from this village now – that no one would ever move away.

But that initial greeting was the thing that stuck with us. Experiencing that proclamation of joy and happiness made the impact more real than any story we heard. Your donation helps transform communities around the world. It restores health, creates new opportunities, and improves lives. But beyond that, it brings people together. It inspires laughter and joy. And it literally has families dancing in celebration.
