Mavjuda is a 59-year-old woman who lives in Tajikistan. In 2016 she was diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer. Tajikistan is the poorest country in the former Soviet Union and its residents are unable to access most of the modern medications within its borders. For this reason, Mavjuda requested our help several times over the years. Our support allowed her to purchase prescribed medications abroad and continue her treatment. Thanks to this project, she was able to continue maintenance therapy with letrozole, a potent anti-cancer drug, and stay in remission.
Your donations make these kinds of miracles possible. Typically, donations of up to $50 make up 85% of total donations we receive. Small gifts are our foundation that helps us withstand any adverse conditions, and we are truly gratefu to each and every one of our supporters.
We would like to invite you to take part in Little by Little Campaign that returns on Monday, April 3rd! This campaign celebrates the power of small donations. A 50% match on any donation of $50 or less will be given during that week, until Friday, April 7th. In addition, all new recurring donors will get an additional 100% match on their initial donation to be received after four monthly payments!
We really hope you take this opportunity to support more cancer patients like Mavjuda. Mark your calendars and support us again the week of April 3rd! Thank you!
