With dedication, determination and a LOT of hard work, the Home 4 Hope is becoming a reality! Krystoff Moll and his wife Justyna have worked tirelessly along with many local volunteers and four from the US: Jose Redondo, Brian O'Reilly, Ingrid Sargis and Carolyn Thompson. We appreciate and applaud their efforts!
The outside of the entire structure is almost finished and plumbing and electricity working throughout the house. Heating was installed under the cement floors which will be most appreciated during Poland's cold, cold winters. Ingrid and Carolyn are cleaning and papering the windows in preparation of painting apartment #1. Donated furniture, kitchen and bath items have been cleaned, fixed and are ready to install. The first family should be ready to move in this month!
None of this would have been possible without your donations. We truly appreciate your kind generosity and hope you will continue to support the Home 4 Hope. As in most of the world, the cost of materials in Poland continues to rise. And with winter coming, electricity and gas prices are expected to triple.
Yet, we are determined to finish this project and bring shelter to about 20 Ukrainians who have been forced to leave their homeland due to Putin's War. Please follow our progress on FaceBook at: Home-for Hope.
Dzienkuje (Thank you in Polish)
