Access to digital reading has never been more important; incorporating digital learning into education is now the norm and brings Worldreader new opportunities to make a difference for more children around the world.
As of July 1, 2021, Worldreader has reached 18 million readers in 76 countries across six global regions: East Africa, West Africa, Middle East & North Africa, South Asia, Latin America, and the United States.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to plague India, Worldreader is working with local schools to train teachers on digital learning tools and is providing students with access to our free BookSmart app with hundreds of culturally-relevant digital books. Below are some of our specific activities to Keep Children Reading across India.
Thanks to your contributions, we are 1/3 of the way to our goal. Please spread the word to your friends and families to help bring our digital reading program to an 11th Anganwadi!
