Help animals in Venezuela as result of COVID19

After almost 9 months, just this weekend we were able to travel outside the city of Caracas (the country capital) to resume some spay & neutering campaigns in Cumana, Sucre State, at the east of our country.

We saw the impact of these many though months, were income for many families disappeared, were the situation became even more difficult and were animals continued to suffer all of the consequences.

Thanks to the donations of superheroes like you, we were able to help around 200 dogs & cats to have the gift of a better life. Many had families, but many more live on the streets.

We also saw the tremendous effort that these people made to take this animals to be spayed, in spite of hunger, of COVID-19, of a collapsing sanitary system, of gas shortages, and of an inclement heat. 

Thank you, because without your effort and support, this wouldn´t have been possible.

We hope you are safe and doing good during these challenging times.

We want to thank you for supporting our cause and becoming a channel of unconditional love and help for animals in Venezuela.

During these months, we have continued to provide spay & neutering campaigns for a smaller number of animals than we are used to (around 200 animals in the last 3 months, which is the number we use to spay in a slow weekend), veterinary attention for urgent cases (many CTVT cases which we treated with chemotherapy, fractures and amputations) and food for abandoned and low-income families taking care of their dogs and cats.

We still have a long way to go but thanks to your donations, we have been able to continue changing the lives of many animals in Venezuela during these hard times.

Please take a look at the video we are linking below, which shows the story of Bocanegra and Beethoven - a beloved puppy and a 4-months-old kitten rescued by a family in Maracaibo, Zulia State, that we spayed recently and are doing great. We went to pick them up by foot, had them spent a night with us in order to respect the mandatory lockdown imposed, and then returned them to their families, hoping we can continue to help them with the respective vaccines, vitamins and food they can't afford at the moment.
