The GLK Student Fund would like to introduce two of it's newest scholarship students, Aidan and Raymondo who began pre-school at New Vision primary school this past June. These two students are the younger twin brothers of current GLK Scholarship student, Kelvin. The boys live with their father in a particularly remote region with few resources.The father of the boys, Paulo has been struggling to provide for all of his children. Largely uneducated himself, Paulo relies on odd jobs to support his family including caretaking for others' property, farming, and nearly anything that needs to be done.
Unfortunately, the boys' mother passed away when Aidan and Raymondo were two years old making Paulo's money from odd jobs the only source of income for the family. The GLK Student Fund would like to provide for Aidan and Raymondo's education as they move through primary school. With past GlobalGiving donations, we feel confident we can support the first few years of primary school, but we are looking to ensure that we can fully commit throughout their entire primary schooling.
Please help us support this family during the holiday season and give these students the powerful gift of education.
