The GLK Student Fund has been working hard on supporting deserving students with receiving a quality education. On her September trip to Tanzania, Gayle met a number of students in need of an educational program in which they can learn and develop: Edina, an orphan who had missed several years of primary school because she was taking care of her baby brother; Ines, whose father's death left her family with few resources; AnnaGrace, who is flourishing at her new school after twelve months in this healthy environment.
Join us on December 3rd for an exciting matching opportunity sponsored by Microsoft YouthSpark! The Microsoft YouthSpark program is giving away $250,000 in matching funds to worthy causes supporting education for vulnerable youth.
The Microsoft YouthSpark matching program begins on December 3rd at 12:00pm and will end on December 4th 12pm. Each donation will be matched dollar for dollar. Please note, the matching only applies to credit card or Paypal donations made through the Global Giving website.
With so many of our students struggling to obtain a basic education in the face of poverty, orphanage, and a poor public school system, please pledge to support us and take advantage of this matching program by making a donation today.
