Meet our new scholarship candidate, Ines!
Ines is a bright, curious, 7-year old girl ready to enter Standard 2. She is currently enrolled at a government school, however, the quality of education Ines is receiving there is inadequate. Her current school consists of over-crowded classrooms lacking in critical resources and well-trained teachers. The GLK Student Fund is aiming to place Ines into a good school where she can flourish academically.
Sadly, Ines' father passed away in a traffic accident last year, making it extremely difficult for her family to afford a quality education for her. We are hoping to help her family by sending Ines to an excellent private primary school to receive a great education and give her the tools she needs to succeed.
Anagrace, our most recent scholarship candidate on Global Giving is doing well. Her overall results show that she is currently 4th in her class (out of 40 students) and is receiving A's in both math and religion.
