Our Students Say 'Thank You'

By Gayle Kliever | Project Leader

Sara and Sizia (Cynthia) - June 2025

We have received 'thank you' letters from some of our present and former GlobalGiving sponsored students.  We would like to pass along to you some of their words here.

We received two letters from our scholarship students, twins Sara and Sizia.  They are in class seven now and have been with this project since they were in pre-school  Class seven is the final year of primary school.  They both wrote to thank the GlobalGiving donors.  Sara has written:

"I expect to complete my primary studies this year . . . Thank you for your aid which you gave me to pay for my school fees. . . I promise I shall perform well in the national exams."

Winston received scholarship funds from GlobalGiving donors when he was in primary school.  He is now attending secondary school and, in May of this year, wrote to us:

"Dear GlobalGiving Donors, . . . I am so much delighted to say . . . that you have been my pillar which has been holding me, my life, and my studies . . .May God bless you."

Edina came to us as an orphan who was not attending any school.  She was with this GlobalGiving project when we were able to get her into primary school despite missing several years of education.  Edina, now growing up and attending secondary school, writes to you who support this project:

"By now I am in secondary education in Form III. It is the big step which I take due to your support. . . You have made me to see myself as equal to others. . .  I wish to own an orphans centre which will make me remember where I have moved from."

We all send you our thanks and gratitude for your support of these wonderful students!
