Help a Tanzanian Orphan Complete Primary School

Dear Supporters,

It's time for an update on our primary school scholarships.  Thanks to you, Anagrace has moved to an excellent boarding school and is flourishing!  She is glad to be in a safe place where she is well taken care of and where she receives challenging and competent instruction.  Her head teacher says that she is a very happy girl (take a look at her photo!).  The funds raised so far in this GlobalGiving campaign are enough so far to pay for Anagrace through at least three more years of primary school.

Another young student has been in our thoughts this year and we would like to add a scholarship for her to this project.  In our first report, we mentioned Evelyn.  She is a very, very bright and vivacious young girl who would benefit greatly from attending a decent school.  We are hoping that we can raise a scholarship so that she can join a good day-school in her town.  

During this time of holiday preparations, we offer you our heartfelt thanks for your support so far.  We hope that the hardships felt by our neighbors here in the New Jersey/New York area, and by our bright, young students in Tanzania will be in your thoughts this season. 

May we all remember the importance of education in life and the driving desire of our scholarship students to learn as much as they can in adverse circumstances.  Each one will tell you, "Education is the key to life."
