SAMPARC started Vocational Training Centre in Varnasi, Uttar Pradesh in September 2015 and more than 500 girl students successfully completed their training in Basic Fashion Designing, Beautician course and Zari Making and have started their own business and are supporting their family.
After receiving encouraging response from the students in Varnasi in a rented premise for 2 years SAMPARC constructed a new building and equipped the classrooms and started 2 courses Fashion Design and Computer. Now, under Community Education Support Program SAMPARC is also providing education support to children from poor socio-economic families to help children attend school regularly and complete education
Community Education Support Program - 48 children from Jr.Kg to 9th std are receiving education support and a tutor is teaching the children. The Beneficiaries under this program are from very poor situation. Their parents work as daily wage labor or rickshaw-puller or domestic helpers or land-less farmers who work in others farms. Because of poverty, education of the children is badly neglected. To help the children SAMPARC provides tutorial support. Children attend Government run schools and SAMPARC tutor teaches the children all subjects in the class.
The purpose of starting this project in Varnasi is to reach more underprivileged children and help them to attend school and complete their education. SAMPARC is receiving encouraging response and the children are showing good progress.
