For 3 years I joined my family at the María de Guadalupe Community Center. My daughter Cármen asked me to enroll her because her friends from her school told her that they were going to a place where they learned to play guitar, violin, and computers, and my daughter wanted to attend. When I applied for enrollment I was surprised that they also gave other courses such as early stimulation for my 2-year-old daughter Lulú, in addition to the children's dining room and nutritional monitoring, it was actually very complete, something that I could not give my daughters because we are a family humble with little income.
There is so much help we have received that I could not describe it in a few words. My daughter Lulú began to come to her early stimulation classes since she was a baby, that helped her a lot in her development, she learned to crawl, walk, she is a very intelligent and awake girl, she knows the vowels, the colors, she expresses herself very Well, people are surprised that she is very smart for her age and I tell them that it is because in Crecemos DIJO they have helped us, because I, as a mother, have also learned to improve the way I educate my daughters.
My daughter Cármen, is 12 years old, goes to the violin and to computers. As a mother, I feel very satisfied and proud that she knows how to play the violin, because they are very expensive classes that we could not afford and at Crecemos they are free. She, too, already has a lot of computer skills, and that will help her a lot when she goes to high school.
When she entered the dining room she had anemia, for many years she had anemia, the doctors thought it could be a serious illness, because they could not recover. In Crecemos DIJO they supported us with nutritious food, nutritional monitoring, and also so that my daughter could be checked by a pediatrician and made many clinical studies. It was a long and painful process for the family, but thanks to God and Crecemos SAID, my daughter is now well, recovered.
My dream as a mother is that my daughters improve, study, prepare academically, that I can see that they are good people, that they do not go through the same difficulties that we parents go through, I wish a life very different from ours. We grow up. SAID is helping me to fulfill that desire, I see my daughters very different from others, and it is because of everything they receive in this place.
Thank you to all who, with her help, drive our dreams, thank you for being our hero.
Mrs. Irma. Beneficiary of Crecemos DIJO
