Be a hero for vulnerable children in Mexico

My name is Soledad Ballinas, I am 29 years old. My family goes to the María de Guadalupe center for 6 years, I have 5 children, Monserrat, Alma Rosa, Juan Gregorio, Alexander and Antonia. I dedicate myself to the home and I sell articles by catalog like shoes and kitchen articles, this to be able to defray the expenses of the house because the salary of my husband is not enough, he is a bricklayer's assistant, but they are temporary jobs. I arrived at the María de Guadalupe Center because some neighbors told me that in that place they offered help to families and especially in nutritious food. At first my children had a hard time eating what they were given because they were not used to eating vegetables or meat, in the house almost always gave them bread and coffee, but I did not want to give up and I knew it was a good for them to be there. Later I realized that not only was it a food support, but they offered many more supports that my children have taken advantage of, like school support classes for my children who go to elementary school, that has helped them improve their grades in school . Currently all are in soccer classes. As a mom, I'm surprised because they are given computers, reading workshops, English, now that Monsterrat is in high school, and it's a good thing that she has taken the workshops in the center because she does not have any difficulties. Montse knows how to use a computer and in the house we do not have, he learned it here. Alexander and Alma Rosa make beautiful drawings and it was thanks to the art workshops. If it were not for this center, my children would not know many things because I could not teach them or pay for classes so that they would be better. In the community there is no other place like that, a child who has all these benefits is because his family can pay for it, because quality education is only for children who have economic possibilities. I tell the families to take advantage of it. I expect great things from my children, when I first saw my daughter playing the violin, I could not believe it ... my daughter playing a violin! After this I think that my children may be able to achieve what they want, they can achieve their dreams. I can see a future in my children and I know that with the company of Crecemos we can achieve it.
