Over the last week, we found ourselves immersed in a situation straight out of a would-be episode of “Hoarders”.
We received an urgent plea from a concerned family in Stanislaus County. An elderly disabled man in the family was hoarding animals in a tiny backyard shed. The “living” conditions were deplorable.
Through compassionate negotiations, we were able to save the lives of 38 animals over the last week: 30 rabbits, 4 turtles, 2 doves, and 2 chickens.
Rescuing the animals, like Flip and Flop the Bunnies, was the easy part. Caring for the survivors is the challenge before us now.
Every act of generosity has a positive impact.
As we start 2018, support the #SavedfromHoardingHell survivors with a compassionate contribution today.
