Project Report | Jun 22, 2026
Help 56 young adults become nurses and paramedics

By Berenice Salgado | Project Leader

Currently, the shortage of healthcare professionals trained to respond to emergencies is a critical challenge in Nuevo León. Recognizing this need, we implemented a transformative strategy through the GlobalGiving platform. All funds raised provided scholarships and professional training for 56 young individuals, equipping them with the essential tools to become excellent nurses and paramedics. This initiative has not only strengthened the Mexican Red Cross School in Nuevo León but also ensures that our community has new specialists ready to save lives whenever needed.

The success of this campaign is a direct result of the trust placed in us by our donors. Thanks to the funds raised, our students have gained access to education, state-of-the-art equipment, and clinical practice, allowing them to meet international standards in prehospital care and empowering each of them to become a public health professional in our state.

For the Mexican Red Cross, transparency is a core value. The management of these funds has been specifically directed toward our students to ensure that your donation has a direct impact on the academic and practical quality of the beneficiaries.

Furthermore, we will soon be celebrating our students' graduation this coming July. This brings renewed hope to many families in Nuevo León. This project demonstrates that when we combine the commitment of our community with our humanitarian mission, we are capable of transforming realities. We invite our benefactors to continue being a part of this network of solidarity, making it possible for our students to become the guardians of health that our society deserves.
