Thanks to your contribution we continue to support young people with cancer
Young people are known for living in their own world, sometimes they feel misunderstood, and often they don't fit into the adult world. But today I want to share with you the testimony of Laura, a 16-year-old girl diagnosed with acute leukemia, who is known for her charisma and leadership. She is a loving and inspiring young woman who helps other young people and children in the oncology unit to cope with the disease and hospitalization. Her smile, her joy and her details make the time in the hospital more bearable. For example, if she can't enter a classmate's room because he is immunosuppressed, she sends him a letter and makes him a bracelet or necklace with her own hands.
At the Foundation we are happy to witness these displays of affection and solidarity among young people and we become accomplices of unforgettable moments and those bonds of friendship that are born from cancer and last forever.
We want to continue being partners in life's strongest and deepest friendships.
