Thanks to your valuable support we have been able to continue accompanying young people with cancer!
“Inspiration Fridays” continue being the ideal space to bring together patients in treatment with young survivors. The empathy and connection are immediate, as young people in treatment see in survivors the hope and motivation they need to believe that cancer can be overcome.
In the last months of 2022 we carried out different activities with them, in which we were able to get patients in treatment out of the hospital and remind them that life is more than a cancer diagnosis. We went to the countryside, to a place with a lot of green and clean water, there they enjoyed a sunny day and the company of the survivors and staff of the Foundation. Another day we did a skin care and makeover workshop to raise self-esteem and minimize the impact of changes brought by chemotherapy. The space was lovingly provided by the mother of a Lymphoma survivor. There they consented the patients who left renewed.
In 2023 we want to continue accompanying young people with cancer. You can also be part of this project!
