Through your contribution we can help to achieve the goals of more young people with cancer!

The Colombian Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation has a group of more than 50 young people, who are in active treatment or who have survived the disease. They are an example for others; Some of them have assumed greater leadership and every week they go to the hospitals and give testimony to other teenagers who are newly diagnosed.

Danielle, Andrew and Valentine finished their treatment and managed to overcome cancer. Together with them, we celebrate life, and the beginning of a new career with a thousand goals to achieve, that with an orange ribbon symbolize the completion of a stage and the beginning of something else, each one received a medal and a diploma, congratulating them on his courage, strength, courage, wisdom and empathy towards his friends who have not yet finished, but to whom when he can give them the breath of life.

Danielle is a very cheerful young woman, always happy, during her process she helped other girls to empower themselves despite the loss of her hair, she tells us that her illness was the one she could teach the small and valuable details of life. The best part of her process, she said, was to get closer to her mom, the woman the she loves too much.

Andrew, teaches us how to be strong, always comes to group activities, participates and gives encouragement to others. His girlfriend and his mom are very proud of him, as well as a lot and are happy to know that he finally finished his treatment.

Finally, Valentina, an extroverted young woman who never stands still, she celebrated something else that has finished the treatment, celebrated having completed 1 year of her bone marrow transplant that says it is as if she had been reborn.

They are part of young contact group, and they are life inspirers.

What do you think of this project? How do you think we could improve it?
