May 2020 Project Report
Help Educate 250 students in Guyana
First I would like to thank you for your generous support of our project to help Educate 600 Students in Guyana. Despite the delay caused by COVID-19 we are excited to report that the renovation of the reading room has been completed. When students return to school, they will be able to return to a beautiful, safe and inviting room which will encourage them to read.
We shipped over 900 books to donate to the school. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we were not able to travel to Guyana in March as planned to stock the shelves with the books. Given the current state, this will be delayed until it is safe for our volunteers to resume working directly with the schools and students.
Once we have completed the project we will follow up with a second report detailing our work.
