“Empowering Change: Transformative Impact of the Ubon Ratchathani Workshop on Girls’ Safety and Confidence”

We’re excited to share the impactful results of our recent workshop in Ubon Ratchathani this September. Prior to the workshop, 81% of the girls reported experiencing or witnessing violence, underscoring the urgent need for this training. Thanks to your support, we were able to provide crucial knowledge and practical tools for personal safety and awareness.
The impact was undeniable—pre- and post-test scores soared from an average of 38% to 81%, with 88% of participants showing significant improvement in key areas such as understanding consent, responding to bullying, and knowing how to seek help. Even more inspiring was the girls’ feedback, with many expressing increased confidence in their self-defense skills. In fact, 89% said they gained practical knowledge they can use to prevent dangerous situations in the future.
We’re eager to build on this momentum with more workshops focused on danger prevention, legal rights, and self-defense—all made possible through your generous contributions.
