We thank you for your support over the years. The funds we raised till the end of last year was fully utilised to train thousands of high school girls in northeast Thailand at risk of gender-based violence and harassment. We hope to do the same in the coming years. For 2024, we’re unable to start any training as the funds raised so far amounted to only USD32. To run a three-hour workshop for a class of 40 to 50 students requires USD546. We’re targeting 5,000 girls this year, but we are a long way from that. So, help us get to a point where we can at least run a few workshops. Your support will arm at-risk teenage girls with skills to repel sexual harassment and violence. Through our ‘Claim Your Rights’ workshops, we trained them in:
Every girl we’re able to train will hopefully lead to one less heartbreaking story and statistic in the scourge of gender-based violence and discrimination. We look forward to your generous support.
