Help 5,000 Thai Girls Protect Themselves

Dear friends and supporters,

Since the beginning of our campaign, back in June 2017, we have raised 1,535 USD. While this amount has enabled us to providing training to 242 high school students in Ubon Ratchathani, the remaining 4,758 girls still need your help. In order for us to reach them and offer much-needed skills and knowledge on sexual harassment and violence, we urge that you join us in our passion and consider contributing towards the remaining 24,465 USD.

Our workshops provide participants with information and skills required to recognise and report crimes, avoid dangerous situations and respond sensibly in times of threat.

At the end of every workshop, our students are always excited to share what they have learned, especially with their friends and family.

• ‘I learned how to protect myself from danger and how to be strong in dangerous situations. It's the first workshop I've attended where I didn't fall asleep. The trainers were very good at delivering the workshop. I gained knowledge and I had fun. I want you to run this workshop again.’
• ‘The workshop is really useful. I can actually use what I have learned here in real situations, to protect myself. I want every school to experience workshops like these.’
• ‘learned about many things, such as, how I can defend myself from bad guys. The activities made me realise what I need to do with my life and how I can use the survival skills I learned today with bad guys and other situations.’

These are a few examples of the feedback we receive from our participants. The gratefulness and eagerness expressed by these students are repeated by all the girls after every workshop.
