Hi everyone,
As you know and have seen hurricane Irma has swept through Florida and has devastated our entire state over the past few days. Me and my family are safe thank God. We ask that you all please pray for all of our people in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas as we pick up the pieces and get our lives back to normal.
We again want to thank you guys for the ongoing support you all have rendered to the children at the orphanage, your tremendous love and care has been very vital to the growth and stability of these wonderful children. Your support over the years has meant a great deal and now has produced the first Highschool graduate(Abijah). Abijah has been at the orphanage with the rest of his brothers and sisters since he was 8 years old and today we are proud to see him graduate and now college bound. Folks we all should celebrate and rejoice that we have stuck together with every fiber of our being to see this young man proceed in the future of adulhood with a solid training and education that will make him the outstanding leader that Liberia so desperately need. WE DID IT Y'ALL. This is a huge success for all of us, but we must not relent as we have to support him through college and bring him to the finish line.
Also many of his brothers and sisters are in line at the orphanage pushing to accomplish what he has achieved so far, and extending that knowledge to proceed to college. I know we have a long way to go but together we can accomplish anything we set ourselves to do. Abijah and the rest of the CCH family extend their thanks and gratitude to you all for all the love and support you all are continuing to give them as they look toward the future. The funding proveide has gone to get all the necessary tools and equipment like tuition, books, shoes, uniforms, stationaries etc.for the kids as they go to school.
In conclusion, we ask for your continual support and also encourage you to engage your family and friends to come along side of us as we strive to give these children the life that God intended for them. Again thank you all so much for everything you have done for the kids at CCH. May God bless us all and keep us safe.
