Don't Let Ukraine Lose Its Next Generation

In small Ukrainian communities, young people often have ideas but very few chances to turn them into something real.

That is why uBoost created Create Here!, a practical entrepreneurship program that helps young people move from an idea to a real business, service, or community project.

More than 220 young people joined the program, and 20 finalists developed their ideas with mentors and experts. They learned how to understand local needs, plan a budget, test their ideas, and build something that could truly work.

Toma is one of them.

She is from Dovhe, a village in the Zakarpattia region. During the program, she imagined a safe and welcoming space where children could learn, play, and spend time together, while parents could receive support and have a little time for themselves.

Today, that idea is no longer just a presentation or a dream.

Toma has opened the center in her village. She has already hired her first employee and is planning to expand the space and invite a speech therapist so that more families can receive the support they need close to home.

For Toma, this is her first business and her first team.

For local families, it is a place that did not exist before.

For the community, it is a new service, a new job, and a young person choosing to build a future where she lives.
