Planning for the January 2027 FACES Surgical Campaign in Lambayeque, Peru is progressing on schedule. The FACES team has begun recruiting and confirming volunteer medical team members, including surgeons, anesthesiology providers, nurses, speech-language pathologists, and support personnel.
Patient selection is also underway. Through virtual evaluations and collaboration with local healthcare providers, potential surgical candidates are being identified and assessed to ensure they receive the most appropriate care during the campaign.
In addition, FACES is actively coordinating with our long-standing partners at Hospital Belén de Lambayeque. Together, we are confirming logistics, preparing patient records, and organizing the resources necessary to support a successful surgical and educational mission.
We remain on track for the January campaign and are grateful for the continued collaboration of our volunteers, local partners, and supporters as we work to provide comprehensive cleft care to children and families in Northern Peru.
We hope you will continue to share and promote this campaign to help us raise funds for children with clefts.
