Help 3,000 Elephants/10,000 Villagers in Myanmar

I hope all is well!

Thanks to your support, we have been making substantial process with our efforts in Myanmar to implement our unique solutions to elephant protection. After many discussuions with the government, we will be submitting our Letter of Intent (LOI) to the government for their review this week. We are optimistic we will be able to get it signed early this year so we can begin our due diligence. The key componets of the LOI are:

• Work with all relevant stakeholders to identify an appropriate tract of land that can be used to create a sanctuary for Asian elephants that allows each individual elephant and/or elephant family to exhibit all natural behaviors and act on all natural instincts, including access to natural food and water sources, natural environmental enrichment and conspecifics, a safe environment free from human conflict and protected from poachers, availability of veterinary services when such human intervention is in the best interest of the individual animal, etc.
• Create significant residential and commercial real estate investment opportunities in the country to raise the profile of this endeavor globally and underwrite the costs of operations for the elephant sanctuary in perpetuity.
• Establish infrastructural needs to benefit local communities and mahouts and their families to include retail/manufacturing/other employment opportunities, job training, access to education and health care, and community conservation education.
• Produce a documentary film following the development of the project and promoting elephant welfare and conservation in the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
• Conduct a full security, economic, and environmental assessment of the project and the benefits to elephants, the local communities, and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
• Identify additional partnerships necessary to full implementation of the project.
• Create a timeline and cost analysis for full implementation of the project.
