Our facilities are protective environments, the protective environments are known as safety networks to impede the abuse of children, and to promote change in attitudes, behaviors, and violent practices with which the children live and can be reflected in their coexistence with their pals or family members.
In March, we developed with the children, activities for the logical-mathematical development such as temporary sequences, laterality, puzzle games, lotteries, dominos, constructions with logical blocks, plane figures, volume-related activities and spatial body positions.
Activities that strengthen the development of autonomy, identity and socialization such as the establishment of habits and routines, cooperative games, recognition of the body and personal belongings, sharing toys and games.
With those logical-mathematical activities, we perceived progress of children in the process of grouping in amounts as many, few, and some. Moreover, object recognition and some of its features like forms, simple colors, sizes and textures that establish spatial relationships from their body in their everyday.
