During the last days of 2015, the spaces of our facilities where colored with glitter and beautified with dance moves in the closure of the process groups and year´s activities. Those spaces where meant to show to the people the learnings and the results of one year of hard work in accompaniment of the development of Life Skills and resilient attitudes.
By means of cultural manifestations, the community was witness of a progress of their sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, friends and neighbors who constantly deal with bad influences of drug abuse, bullying and violence in their daily basis. In this opportunity as every year, they were the main characters on stage, where they showed to the world that are capable and diverse human beings who can overcome and tackle violence by coexisting in harmony with different features.
We let them be and dream, because from them is where the base of values will be taught to their offspring; they act as an example of peace of the bad leadership present in the city, they are the generation of the ones who dream out loud.
On the other hand, we also want to keep you updated with our plans for 2016. We are going to implement three initiatives:
1) A music school to promote the culture of solidarity among the participants.
2) Promotion of rights through game to children aged between 5 and 10.
3) Prevention of violence, formation of peace for adolescents and youth aged between 11 and 23 (as a way to enlarge our institutional offer, to promote spaces of interaction and to engage youth clubs and networks with activities for the constructive use of time)
On behalf of those children and youth, we want to express our gratitude to you as a donor, because those donations were joint efforts to help us in our mission and that is what give us force despite all issues and the current situation of the economy worldwide.
