The school year 2022 2023 ended beginning of June 2023.
In the second year both students from refugees have passed. Grade of the students are 15,36 , and 10,72.
In the third year all students also passed. Grades are between 15,12 and 11,51. Those 5 students passed an in house exam called the CAL (Certificat Agricole du LAP).
The grade average is over 20 in the Burkinabé school system.
These are good results. We sincerely hope that we will be able to recruit new refugees / displaced students for the new school year. We might be helped by the local situation.
ASAP is supporting 12 villages in Burkina Faso. Until end of April they had not been disturbed by the terrorism. Unfortunatly all the villagers of Sissa and Néfrelaye had to flee following threats of terrorists.
The possible new recruits from those villages will have to be taken under this project.
Next school year the 5 first students who have started the LAP will be passing the national exam called BEPC.
Thank you for all your support.
