The grades of the students have decreased in the second quarter of this school year. This is also true for the refugees students.
Most of the students have lower grades. We do not have yet a reason for those lower results. It can be linked to a very long quarter, a lower level of works of the students and or the difference of grading of the teachers.
It is probably a mix of those reasons. We are taking "positive" actions to motivate the students for their studies. Appreciation is better than criticism.
The security situation in Burkina is still not good. There are more than 2.000.000 displaced people in the country. Our students are not directly impacted by this situation. However it has probably an effect on the students and the teachers.
We would like to be able to take more refugees and or displaced people at the LAP. Help us to gather funds for this by communicating our project to your network.
Thank you.
