Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank you for your support toward the Help 1,000 Mentally ill Nigerians find a Home project. Your contribution shows concern for people living without care or shelter. However, the donations received so far are not enough to begin the planned housing and support services, and more support is needed.
Across many communities in Nigeria, people living with mental illness continue to face life on the streets without food, shelter, or treatment. Many experience neglect, abuse, and isolation, while families struggle to provide care due to stigma and financial hardship.
Without safe housing and medical support, their condition often worsens, leaving them trapped in a cycle of suffering.
This project is designed to provide safe shelter, meals, medical care, and counseling for 1,000 individuals, along with rehabilitation support to help them rebuild their lives.
With the right support, many can begin recovery, regain stability, and reconnect with their communities.
We are grateful for the support already received and remain hopeful that additional contributions will make it possible to begin this project and reach those in urgent need.
Thank you for your kindness and continued support.
Sincerely,
Ugbede-Ojo Dominic Kadiri
