Dear Donors,
Greeting from Empower Foundation!
We are back with some exciting updates from our adult learners who are relishing in classes and keeping their teachers on toes for more lessons.
Meet “Asha Devi”, turned 50 years this year, who wears the hat of a Wife, Mother, Sister, Student and many more. Asha believes in leading by example and the reason she was one of our first students to enroll. This month she volunteered to set an example for her peers to break the clutches of hesitation and take charge of own learning (video link). She is a living example that we all have the courage and motivation in us and sometimes we need a person to guide and support us to reach our dreams. We are glad that we can meet these inspiring leaders and have an opportunity to work with them. This has been possible due to donors like you.
As we complete our two months, an assessment was conducted to get more insights on how helpful the lessons have been and to review if we need to modify our approach to meet learner needs. All of our students took the assessment as a challenge head-on and performed their best. Their self-confidence itself is a testament of their will to learn. We are also sharing a graph in attachment to show the impact of the program on our students’ learning level. As per the mid assessment results, we have the movement from illiteracy to partial literacy.
Our adult learners have been able to reach this milestone because of your support and contribution. Your continuous engagement is the best way to support us in reaching more women, so we would like to encourage you to start a recurring monthly donation for a small amount by clicking here. Do share our campaign with your friends, family or anyone who would like to be part of this journey. More the merrier for us.
We will be back with more updates soon!!
