This quarter, we are excited to share a testimonial from a young woman in Kalasin Province who successfully completed high school, thanks to your generosity!
"I graduated from high school in March 2026 and am currently preparing to pursue my bachelor's degree.
I want to express my deepest gratitude to the Education Matters Program for your continuous scholarship support since 2017. This scholarship has been of utmost importance to my life and my family. It has enabled me to pursue my education without interruption and has greatly alleviated my family's financial burden, especially during the start of new school semesters.
My parents work as general laborers, earning an unstable income. Furthermore, they are responsible for caring for the elderly members of our family—my grandmother and grandfather—which results in relatively high living expenses. Despite these challenges, my family is incredibly open-minded and supportive of my personal growth and community involvement, something for which I am deeply grateful.
Over the past few years, I have been very active in my local community center. I have had the privilege of serving in youth leadership, performing in holiday events, and volunteering on the music team. These experiences have helped me grow in confidence, build strong discipline, and develop my musical abilities and responsibility.
Presently, I am preparing to find a job to save up money for my future education, as my family does not have the financial means to support me through higher education, which involves substantial expenses. Nevertheless, I remain deeply determined to complete my degree in order to develop myself and build a stable future.
My dream is to become a teacher or a nurse so that I can help others and contribute meaningfully to society."
