14 More Albino Children Saved from Traffickers

Humanity Healing International’s Albino Rescue program has grown.  From the original 10 children rescued from traffickers in December 2013, the program has grown to 29 children.

While any form of human trafficking is horrendous, the trafficking of children with albinism in Uganda and other regions of Africa is even more terrible as albinos are hunted for their body parts for use in “magic” rituals.

HHI Country Director, and Founder of SCOSP Uganda, Michael Sabiiti, received word of four children who had fled to the bush ahead of human traffickers and lead a team into the bush to look for them.  Remarkably, Michael and his team were able to find 14 children at risk and bring them to safety.

Several of the children needed medical attention and all have now been placed in safe homes and those of school age are now in safe schools.

HHI is in process of updating the profiles of the children in the program on its website, http://humanityhealing.org.  We will send word when this is up.

Bless you for your Compassion in connecting with these children and thank you for helping us to help these children through your generous donations to the program.
